We provide some tips for preparing for a photoshoot…
- Prepare the beds (as you would for arrival)
- Bake a fresh cake or loaf of bread (if you usually do)
- Include a hamper or welcome pack (again, if you usually do)
- Make sure the property is light by picking the best time of day
- Clear bins out of sight
- Make sure work surfaces (especially glass surfaces) are clean and polished
- Put all the lighting on so that it looks cosy / snug
- For external shots – we recommend picking a sunny or cloudy day depending on the property position. Avoid stormy looking skies, rain, thunder and snow for the obvious reasons
- Style your holiday accommodation to fit in with your brand, values and ethos of what you are wanting to represent
