One of the most asked questions we get is what time of year is best for Holiday Let Photography. The simple answer is if you can avoid Winter then try to aim for Spring/Summer if at all possible. Spring/Summer is our most popular time of year for Holiday Let Photography. However, Autumn can also work well.

Weather can be a major factor in the time of year you pick for holiday let photography. Photographs generally look better if there are some leaves on trees and the garden has some sort of colour or mown grass.

The time of year can be even more noticeable with aerial photography by drone. For example it can be much more noticeable if there are no leaves on trees or hedges for example. Furthermore, the weather for the drone is even more important, therefore good conditions are required.

However, I know sometimes when you need Holiday Let Photographs you just need them done as soon as possible. Especially if you are a new holiday let that just needs to launch and get bookings coming in. If winter photography is required, a nice dry (sunny if possible) day is always an advantage. Timing the photoshoot is even more important during winter due to the lower sun creating harsh shadows or being in the wrong place. These are things that Adam always asks Holiday Let owners or managers.

So to summarise, if you are planning a Holiday Let Photoshoot – Spring/Summer and Autumn are your best times of the year to consider wherever possible.
