Being a Professional Photographer means capturing the subject (in our case its usually property photography related) at its best. However, times of year and available lighting also plays a part.
Summer Photoshoots tend to be popular and the working days in summer are much longer due to available light. However, we don’t do Twilight Photoshoots during the summer months due to the lateness of sunset, but we can do sunrise instead if needed.
Autumn is a perfect month if you are surrounded by trees, however capturing the time right is critical as the leaves will fall fairly quickly when they start. Autumn light is plentiful and Twilight Photography starts in the Autumn months (well, ours does anyway).
Winter months can be good if you pick the weather, however there are factors to consider such as the garden being fairly bare, lighting is also reduced and the working hours for photography are fairly limited in the shortest days of winter. There is also, Christmas to think about…themed Christmas Holiday Accommodation Photoshoots can be great at marketing the Holiday Let or Hotel for next year but not so useful for Property Marketing as it dates the Photography.
Spring can be a great time of year to capture colourful gardens. However the leaves on trees tend to be limited and woodland locations can look better in late Spring or early Summer!
Whatever your Property or Holiday Accommodation Photography requirements, I have the experiences of the past 13 years to help advise you. Please feel free to look at my work, what I do and contact me!
